AN EVENING TO OURSELVES
We ate at an authentic Italian restaraunt, were able to walk hand in hand as we soaked in the life of those in San Francisco, but mostly enjoyed some time together. Daison was able to impress the Italians with his ability to speak their language.
We came home to this sweet boy. His Aunt Bree had taught him how to blow kisses.
First Day in California
The weather couldn't have been more beautiful for a walk on the beach. The kids loved running in the sand. A man was walking his RABBIT! He was nice enough to let the kids hold it. Then a trip to the San Francisco Zoo. What a fun day.
Wait...are we on a shuttle at the airport?
Sick kids put a stop to a visit from Aunt Bree. We had a fun trip planned and we were all excited to see the kids interact. Bree called to break the news that she wasn't going to be able to come - then 45 minutes later called to see if we could make a flight that day to go to California. After some quick packing and ditching work we were on our way to Cali!
Yeh! Grandma DoDo is in town
Grandma came bearing suckers and Zu Zu Pets!
As you can see...the kids were happy to have Grandma at our house.
And we were happy to have her too! Valentine's day was nearly every woman's wish - I left the house in the morning and came home to a house that was spotless, kids that were bathed, fed, and dressed, laundry finished and put away. Wow, I wish Mother Mary "Poppins" lived at my house all the time.
