WAITING FOR THE TRAIN

We were stopped waiting for Tracks in Roy when I looked over and saw a black and white kitten sitting on the hill. I happened to have my camera so I took a picture from the car.

HALLOWEEN AT GRANDPA'S

This is what happens when you are the first to fall asleep at a party

Dais and Grandpa

ANNIE AND FRIENDS

TRICK OR TREAT

Maelyn in her Snow White costume that Grandma Do Do made. Ben and Maelyn ran from door to door and I walked behind Dais as he walked slowly from house to house not letting me carry him. He also wanted to walk up and down the stairs by himself and would let any of us help him.

UNCLE CAM

Casey and Kristy's new baby boy. Looks just like Casey

I am pretty sure Cam is the favorite Uncle

GRANDMA LOLA

I love the look on Daison's face.

Lola used the camera to break the ice with baby Dais and he finally warmed up.

FOOTBALL GAME

Waldo, Gabby Hill, Maelyn, Gabby Black (and yes that is her real last name)

Mikell Kap sitting in the background was one of my 12 year olds I coached and now she is playing Division I ball.

Maelyn, Gabby Hill, Sydney Metcalf

Free admission to the WSU football game for the Alumni and families. I don't think I saw more than 2 plays in the game. Maelyn had fun playing with the girls and meeting Waldo the Wildcat. They announced each of us at half time. I am pretty sure the only people that cared were those of us on the field and our families. It was a nice gesture anyway.

DEE EVENTS CENTER

While reminiscing I figured I would find pictures of the Dee Events Center where we practiced and played our matches.

When I played there was a painted Wildcat in the middle of the floor that spanned to the 3 point line. What a great facility. Many great memories here.

Women's Locker Room

Al Givens. He was the director of the volleyball club I played for in Jr. High and I played for his assistant coach Teri Spiers. I played for Al's club team in high school and then signed on with him at Weber State summer of 1997. I was a red shirt my first year and then played my freshman and sophmore year. I "retired" at the end of spring season in 2000 finishing my 3rd year as a memeber of the WSU women's Division I volleyball team. It was time for me to change my focus to my career and develop a new passion.

HONORING ALUMNI

Way better picture/view of all of us.

KIDS AND DADDY DAYCARE

Alumni weekend ended with another volleyball match. We were announced in between games. Daison and Cory Hill made the sacrifice and played with the kids while the ladies got to chit chat. I think our kids had more fun than we did.

ALUMNI WEEKEND

Day 1 of Weber State Women's Volleyball Alumni Weekend. A few of us showed up to the match. Carla Miali, Stephanie Johnson Metcalf, Lisa Holley Hill, and April Taylor Painter. Holly Allsup was also there but I didn't get a picture of her. I had to take a picture of Aprils purple shoes - I am pretty sure she bought those when she was coaching at Weber.

WARD HALLOWEEN PARTY

Our first Trunk or Treat. Previous to this evening I thought Trunk or Treat was the worst idea. Part of the fun is running house to house, knocking on the door, anticipating candy. Well this year I decided that my kids shouldn't miss out because I am stubborn. We went to the church for chili and then due to bad weather the adults set up chairs in the hall way and the kids walked around getting candy. What a sweet idea. We walk a couple feet, get candy, walk a few more feet, get candy, our toes and fingers are warm, there are no cars to hit us, and no dogs barking at us, and best of all we are done in less than an hour and driving home.
