SILLY MAELYN

One evening Maelyn was choreographing a routine of dance combined with gymnastics and obstacle course. Already sounds pretty entertaining right? She had been through the routine several times and I was required to watch each of them. If she caught me not paying attention she would have to start over. Each time I gave her more and more praise thinking I would get out of watching it 15 more times. Once she sensed that she was really losing my attention she came over where I was sitting and explained that we needed to get all her people in their seats to watch her show. I guess all her people were coming and many of them were already in their seats. As she was walking me through the importance of her audience in a step by step manor I happened to let out a loud toot. Maelyn in a disgusted voice and with her head tilted said, "Moooumah, my people don't want to hear that!"

Sometimes I am not sure if my little girl is a princess or a boy. I think she is a good combination of both but this was a little much for me. I was in the kitchen loading the dishwasher and Maelyn was lying on the LoveSac watching cartoons. I hear her yell from the living room, "MOM, come smell my finger it smells good". I didn't think much of it because she had just eaten a lick-a-stick and used her finger instead of the stick. She then comes running into the kitchen - "Mom, smell my finger it smells good". I bent down to smell her finger just as she busted up laughing. Her finger smelled like her butt! The nasty look on my face and the response of disgust I told her that her finger stunk and that was gross! The more I talked the harder she laughed. Chalk one up for Maelyn she got me on that one.

New Mountain Bikes

Kyle bought a bike shop in Provo called SBR (Swim. Bike. Run). Dais and I decided we couldn't pass up the opportunity on a great deal. We bought a trailer for the kids to sit in and we have enjoyed a couple rides around the neighborhood.

Princess Maelyn

Maelyn has started to play dress up - Ithink we might have our hands full!
