BLACK FRIDAY
11 p.m. Thursday evening my husband and children are fast asleep from Thanksgiving day. I sit and ponder what I should be doing on my birthday. I could watch a movie or the many shows I have recorded, but then I think to myself that I should be doing something a little more intertaining than that. Also on Monday I will be asked several times at work what I did on my birthday. I wanted to be able to reply something besides cooking dinner and sitting on the couch. I had spent a great day with my family but I wanted to report something a little more entertaining. I grabbed my keys and decided to join the rest of the crazies at Walmart for the midnight rush of Black Friday. Oh, my hell! I have never seen so many motivated sedentary white trash women in my life. Yes I did use motivated and sedentary in the same sentance. As I faught my way toward the steam mops I could see this was going to be a fight. Thanks to the two young men who were taking boxes from the pallet and throwing them back to those of use who couldn't get past the crazy women frantically piling mops into their cart fitting as many as possible. I got my mop and I was on my way. I few other things on the list; rubbermaid, moon sand, box cars, and color wonder. Being a nauvice I didn't realize that by the time I had found a few items the lines already ran to the back of the store. I chose to pace isle after isle looking for items stashed hoping the lines would shorten. Two isles had drops of blood from an earlier fight. I am pretty sure saving a dollar on Chuttes and Ladders was worth the fight. Two hours later I stepped in line next to the most annoying lady I could have found. So happy to be in line with her for another 45 minutes. A successful trip with a story to tell.
